BGCE Announces Promotions
9/8/04 — Denver, Colorado — BGCE is proud to announce the promotions of three staff members. Brad Staver, P.E., a lead mechanical engineer and project manager in the Denver office, has been named Associate. Mr. Staver's knowledge encompasses HVAC, plumbing, snowmelt systems, boiler plants, heating water distribution, direct expansion, cooling, evaporative cooling, lighting and power design for commercial, high-end residential and healthcare projects. His commercial design expertise includes condominiums, multi-occupancy resort buildings, clubhouses, office buildings, restaurants, and community and healthcare facilities. He is currently the mechanical project manager of a large, four-building, high-rise condominium development in Panama City, Florida.
Patrick Burns, P.E., LEED™ AP, a lead electrical engineer, lighting designer, and project manager in the firm's Vail office, has been named Associate. Mr. Burns provides experience in lighting, life safety and power systems design for a variety of projects ranging from commercial core and shell and tenant improvements, to residential homes, to resort projects. His most recent project experience includes a large mixed-use resort complex at Mammoth, California; a high-rise condominium bay-side cottage development in Destin, Florida; several medical office buildings throughout Colorado; and several design-build commercial/industrial buildings in the Denver area.
Tracy Dible, LEED™ AP, a mechanical engineer in the Denver office, has been promoted to Project Engineer. Mr. Dible's primary responsibilities at BGCE include the new design and remodel of HVAC, plumbing, and control systems for a variety of projects ranging in type from public schools to resort developments to healthcare facilities. His recent project experience includes a new golf course club house, recreation center, and associated operations and maintenance facility, all of which are seeking LEED™ certification, for a developing community in Truckee, California.
