Beaudin Ganze-Truckee Moves, Seeks LEED®-CI Certification
3/6/07 - Truckee, California - Due to growth, Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, Inc. (BGCE) has moved to a larger office space within the Deerfield Plaza office park. In preparing the new space, BGCE worked closely with the design team and contractor, as the team is targeting certification of the project in the LEED® for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) Program sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council. This program provides guidelines and benchmarks for green building performance and certification.
BGCE has been providing mechanical, electrical, technology, lighting, and sustainable design services since its inception in 1991. BGCE opened its Truckee office in 2002, and now has 9 full-time local employees. The firm's commissioning division, Commissioning Agents USA, was launched in 2003. BGCE and CxA-USA have consulted on dozens of projects seeking LEED® certification and have incorporated sustainable design elements into hundreds of projects. The firm serves clients from its four offices located in Truckee, California and Vail, Denver, and Fort Collins, Colorado.
