At Issue
Isom & Associates approached BGCE to provide mechanical and electrical design and construction administration services for a wireless telecommunications facility. The project was challenged by the Owner's construction schedule which provided a strict timeline for the special electronic equipment installation.

BGCE's Work
BGCE provided mechanical and electrical design and construction administration services for a building that included:
- Gas fired heating
- Electric direct expansion cooling units
- Supplementary humidification for the telecom room
- FM-200 fire suppression system to protect the $4 million Lucent telephone switching system
- 150 kVA back-up generator
- Building lightning protection systems
- Four month construction schedule dictated by Owner required close coordination throughout construction

Client Benefits
- Mechanical and electrical systems that insure continuous operations.
- Protection of expensive hi-tech equipment
- Project was delivered on time so that Owner could initiate operations as scheduled
- Owner was able to begin offering service to customers who were otherwise unable to get telephone service in remote areas of Eagle County
