At Issue
Vail Mountain School had outgrown its current private school facilities, the student count having doubled in size. The school's ventilation and heating needed upgrades, and air conditioning was required. Noise from I-70 was bothersome in classrooms. The school also sought to provide economical housing for school staff. All the while, the school wanted to maintain an historic cabin as a "symbol" of the school's philosophy.
