At Issue
BGCE
is providing mechanical and electrical engineering, lighting design,
and construction administration services for this approximately 164,000
SF multi-family residential complex. The complex includes 113,000 SF of
residential space, 18,000 sf of shell common area and 33,000 sf of
below-grade parking garage. Common areas include a library, lobbies,
board room, wine storage and kitchenette. The design of this complex
will be consistent with the existing Broadmoor resort’s architecture.
This facility will provide high-end condominium living space in the
heart of The Broadmoor’s hotel estate. The units will feature high-end
lighting, low-voltage voice/data systems, security, and sound system
designs. Efficient air-conditioning and heating is to be provided via a
fan coil system with a centralized cooling tower, chiller, and boiler.
The facility will utilize a variety of energy saving ideas, including a
cooling tower in the garage in which the required cooling tower’s fan
will also serve the garage’s ventilation fan requirements.
