At Issue
Through the firm's IDIQ contract with the National Park Service, BGCE is providing mechanical and electrical engineering services for historic renovation and new construction projects at various National Park Visitor Centers throughout the Inter-mountain region.
Dinosaur Quarry Visitor Center, Jensen, Utah: Renovations to this approximately 6,000 SF facility include rehabilitating the structure due to site settlement issues and renovation/replacement of out-dated mechanical and electrical systems.
Bandelier Visitor Center, Frijoles Canyon, New Mexico: This project includes renovation and expansion of the existing facility and updates to mechanical and electrical systems.
Glacier National Park Visitor and Transit Centers, Glacier, Montana: These projects include a new 6,000 SF transit center at a western portal to Glacier National Park and renovation and expansion of the existing 15,000 SF St. Mary's Visitor Center at an eastern portal to provide approximately 1,500 SF of transit facilities and update existing mechanical and electrical systems.
Carlsbad Canyon Visitor Center, Carlsbad, New Mexico: This project will essentially gut the existing approximately 30,000 SF facility, leaving only the elevators, for a complete renovation, including a new HVAC system.
