University of Northern Colorado Recreation Projects Ready to Roll
6/8/05 — The Fort Collins office of Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, Inc., in conjunction with the architectural firm of Davis Partnership, has been selected for the University of Northern Colorado Campus Recreation Center and Athletics Facilities improvement projects.
Projects include: 15,000 sf gymnasium and support spaces addition to the Campus Recreation Center; Butler-Hancock Field improvements, used for soccer, rugby, football and softball; Butler-Hancock Gymnasium improvements, including new scoreboard and sound system; Jackson Sports Complex improvements, including renovation of the press box, new restrooms, team rooms and storage building; and new amenities for Nottingham Field, including concessions, restrooms and team building. Total construction cost is estimated at $12.1 Million, with a total project funding of $15.75 Million. Construction is anticipated to be completed by August, 2007.
