BGCE and Nord Join Forces to Bring High-End Lighting Design to their Clients
5/14/02 — Denver, Colorado — Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, Inc. is proud to announce that Tia L. Nord has joined the firm as a Lighting Designer. Ms. Nord is an affiliate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). Ms. Nord has extensive experience in hospitality, commercial, and residential lighting design, a natural fit with Beaudin Ganze's project expertise.
Ms. Nord earned a B.S. in Interior Design from Colorado State University and an M.S. in Architectural Engineering for Building Systems with an Emphasis in Lighting from University of Colorado Boulder. She put her education to work first at Lighting Design Alliance in Long Beach, CA where she worked on such projects as Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and the Universal Theme Park Entrance. Next Ms. Nord joined Integrated Lighting Design in Marina del Rey, California as a Project Manager where she worked on projects ranging from the Marriott-Japan Rail Towers in Nagoya, Japan, to The Gap Headquarter Building in San Francisco, California. Ms. Nord returned to her home state of Colorado to launch her own lighting design consultancy, T Lights, where she completed the lighting design for the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona, and lighting design for a new private residence loft space in Denver's LoDo district.
